Churches Together in South East YorkCTSEY is a local group of churches representing Christians living in South East York. We are part of a national body of CHURCHES TOGETHER. We meet together to worship, work, pray and study in the faith we all share in Jesus Christ.
We aim to encourage and support each other ecumenically at a grassroots level and strengthen our Christian witness in the local community as we use our gifts to serve God’s people everywhere. We ask for your support as a local Christian in the events we organize for the common good.

The Tang Hall and Osbaldwick group of churchesThe Tang Hall and Osbaldwick group of churches (TOUCH for short) comprises St George’s Methodist, St Aelred’s Roman Catholic, York Community Church and the two Anglican parishes of St Hild’a with St Lawrence and St Thomas’s with St James.
Representatives from the five churches meet every couple of months to plan ahead for joint services and activities. In 2010 a five week Lent Course was shared and at Easter a short Procession of Witness took place and this autumn a Harvest Service and Supper was held at Murton Hall. In addition a small group meets each Thursday morning for a half-hour of Prayer. This autumn has seen the arrival of Father Bill Serplus at St Aelred’s and the Community Church has now re-located to Burnholme College for Sunday morning worship, combining its previous two fellowships from Osbaldwick and Tang Hall.
